據(jù)安迅思9月7日消息稱，德國(guó)發(fā)電公司Uniper和日本能源公司JERA計(jì)劃在美國(guó)聯(lián)合開(kāi)發(fā)清潔氨氣出口項(xiàng)目。

他們的目標(biāo)是與康菲石油公司合作，在美國(guó)墨西哥灣沿岸開(kāi)發(fā)綠色和藍(lán)色氨氣項(xiàng)目，初始產(chǎn)能為200萬(wàn)噸/年，隨后擴(kuò)大至800萬(wàn)噸/年。

German Uniper to work with Japan’s JERA on US clean ammonia projects

German power generation company Uniper and Japanese energy firm JERA plan to jointly develop clean ammonia export projects in the US.

They aim to develop both green and blue ammonia projects on the US Gulf coast, in collaboration with ConocoPhillips, targeting an initial production capacity of 2m tonnes/year, with later expansion to 8m tonnes/year.

The projects will produce hydrogen and convert it into clean ammonia to be supplied to JERA and Uniper under long-term sale and purchase agreements, with Europe as the primary initial export market.

An engineering study will be completed by the end of 2022 to develop a first project phase. Commercial operations could start in the late 2020s.

In addition to clean ammonia, Uniper and JERA will be working to optimise their liquefied natural gas (LNG) portfolios, they said in announcement on Monday.

As a result, Uniper and JERA should be able to supply additional LNG to Germany and Japan, respectively.
