據(jù)油氣新聞5月31日消息稱，以色列能源部長周一表示，以色列將重啟海上勘探，并希望盡快達成向歐洲出口天然氣的協(xié)議。

能源部長Karine Elharrar曾表示，新氣田的勘探將暫停，以專注于實現(xiàn)可再生能源目標(biāo)。

Elharrar在新聞發(fā)布會上說：“除了歐洲的擔(dān)憂，以色列向歐洲出口天然氣也是一個真正的機會。”

正因為如此，她說她指示能源部準(zhǔn)備新一輪以色列地中海沿岸天然氣勘探招標(biāo)，預(yù)計將于第三季度開始。

Israel renews gas exploration, expects export deal to Europe

Israel is renewing offshore exploration and hopes to reach an agreement soon for exporting gas to Europe, Israel’s energy minister said on Monday.

Energy Minister Karine Elharrar had said exploration for new gas fields would be put on hold to focus on meeting renewable energy targets.

“Alongside the real and sincere concern in Europe, there is a real opportunity for Israel to export natural gas to Europe,” Elharrar said at a news conference.

Because of this, she said she instructed the ministry to prepare for a new round of tenders for gas exploration off Israel’s Mediterranean coast, which is expected to begin in the third quarter.
